Nanaimo Daily News • Apr-5-2008
The Nanaimo DBL Timbermen are pleased to announce the acquisition of Ken Morrison from the Ladner Pioneers. Morrison, with 231 goals, 249 assists and 505 points in 106 games, is the second on the T-Men's all-time scoring list behind assistant coach Kevin Shires.
"We are ecstatic to have Ken back in the organization. He is a Nanaimo product through and through," said
T-Men president and general manager Pat O'Dwyer. "He should fit in well with the coaching philosophy and be able to help the younger players understand what is necessary to win games."
In other T-Men news, the team has rescheduled the rained-out Mac Maude Memorial Golf Tournament for April 26. Golfers can register online at www.nanaimotimbermen.com.
